Challenge

The 2017 Northern California Wildfires devastated hundreds of thousands of lives. The Healthcare Foundation of Northern Sonoma County wanted to help those who survived the fires to learn coping skills that were based on cognitive behavioral therapy, and track things like mood over time.

Solution

On October 7, 2018, Overlap and the Foundation launched Sonoma Rises. Overlap collaborated very closely with the Foundation’s content team to structure content and make it easier to find relevant skills and local resources. Sonoma Rises is available on iOS and Android, in English and in Spanish.
